Library Media Center

In our library, our students in grades K-2 have access to 17,000 book titles that we hope will help them spark a lifelong love of learning. During the regular school year, each classroom has weekly trips to the library and students get the opportunity to check out books. During the summer, we open our library weekly so families can continue to learn and grow together.

Check Out Policy

Students are encouraged to check out library books during their weekly library class and they are due back for class the following week. Students will not be able to check out a new book until they have returned last week’s books. We ask that students treat books from our library collection with care. If a book is lost or damaged, please let us know immediately.

Colette Prigmore, Librarian

Being Librarian for James Lintott Elementary is truly a dream come true for me. When I was a student at Fords Prairie Elementary in Centralia, the Librarian, Mrs. Cagle, would let me come into the library during lunch to read and check out books. That’s just one example of adults in my life who encouraged me toward a love of reading. I hope to be one of those adults for the next generation of readers.
