Schedules for First Days of School

Reminder: Here are the schedules for the first days of 2026-2027 school year in the Chehalis School District:

  • Students in grades 3-12 will have their first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 1
  • Students in grades 1-2 will have their first day of school on Wednesday, Sept. 2
  • Wednesday, Sept. 2 is a regular schedule day, not an Early Release Wednesday. The first Early Release Wednesday of the 2026-2027 school year will be Sept. 9.
  • All schools will be closed Friday, Sept. 4 through Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of the Labor Day holiday
  • Kindergarteners will have their first day of school on Tuesday, Sept. 8
